Hull Shielding System

Patent Pending #63/783,869

Patent Pending – Rare Earth Metals & Advanced Materials in Space Hull Panels
It doesn’t help designing spacecraft if you can’t protect them — FAST Space engineers survival systems built to endure the realities of deep space. One of the most critical aspects of long-term mission success is protecting the ship and crew from threats that don’t make headlines, but end missions:

Cosmic Radiation & Micrometeoroid impacts.

While most of today’s spacecraft offer partial radiation protection or light shielding against micrometeoroids, very few — if any — provide a unified solution to both. That’s where FAST Space, Patent Pending Hull Panel Technology stands alone.

Cosmic Radiation Shielding — Total Spectrum Defense

Our multi-layered shielding system will offer effective mitigation (96%) against all known forms of cosmic radiation, including:

  • Galactic Cosmic Rays (GCRs)
  • Solar Energetic Particles (SEPs)
  • Anomalous Cosmic Rays (ACRs)

Each layer is strategically engineered using a blend of Rare Earth Metals, lightweight dense alloys, and shock-diffusing substrates — all drawn from materials we’ve successfully used for decades in high-pressure vessel construction for radioactive waste transport, volatile liquid storage, and compressed gas systems.

Micrometeoroid Impact Resistance — A Second Line of Survival

It is not enough to simply shield against radiation.

A ship that cannot endure a micrometeoroid traveling at 25 km/s will be punctured and have life-support systems completely stop functioning.

That’s why our Hull Panels are designed with reinforced structural layering, allowing them to withstand impacts from even larger micrometeoroids than what current-generation spacecraft can survive.

Where others focus on either radiation or impact resistance — we engineered for both.

Because space won’t let you choose which hazard arrives first.

What makes our shielding truly unique?

– Custom Rare Earth Blends forged into flexible, high-density matrixes
– Aerospace-grade composites with radiation absorption and energy dissipation capacity
– Heritage tech from nuclear and cryogenic industries
– Mass efficiency, so even with superior protection, weight remains mission-compliant

Designed to meet the standards of space agencies and defense authorities.

We believe this technology can play a vital role in safeguarding astronauts and assets aboard next-generation missions by NASA, ESA, and DARPA, as well as commercial partners pushing space exploration.

We welcome partners and inquiries from any mission group or agency seeking to enhance survivability without compromising mobility. Let’s raise the bar for what space protection truly means.
