Defense Station: ARIA (Advanced Response & Interception Arsenal)
(Station Front)
ARIA is FAST Space’s answer to planetary defense — because the time for waiting on the world’s agencies, governments, and committees is over. The time for real action is now — not more reports, no more reviews, but deployed systems that actually defend this planet before it’s too late.
ARIA is the crown jewel of Earth’s planetary defense — a sentinel stationed in orbit to detect, intercept, and neutralize incoming threats from space: asteroids, rogue satellites, or hostile technologies. It is not just a station — it is a shield, a deterrent, and the final line between danger and survival.
Size & Structure
100-meter spherical station constructed using the same ultra-resilient composite skin as HALO and TERRASPHERE — offering 95–98% protection from cosmic radiation and micrometeoroids. Glass is no longer vulnerability — retrofitted transparency shielding now guards missile batteries and high-intensity defense turrets.
Positioning
Located in high Earth orbit or at Lagrange Points, ARIA operates in silent sentry mode until needed — then instantly transitions into active response mode when threats arise.
Orbital Maneuvering
FAST SPACE satellites utilize a ARIA is no stationary target. Hybrid propulsion thrusters allow repositioning, rotation, and vector correction — making it responsive in multi-threat environments or complex debris fields.
LADAR & Power Systems
ARIA features a 20MW LADAR system detecting objects from 10m up to 50,000km away, firing 3,000 pulses/sec with 360° scanning. AI optics track real-time 3D trajectories, even hypervelocity or stealth debris. A 25MW generator powers the system, allocating 20MW to detection, targeting, and turret coordination.
Interior Systems
Power generation cores, AI command processors, and multi-layered defense command units are housed within. All systems are integrated with global defense networks and allied space platforms.
Threat Detection Grid
A global sensor array network integrated into ARIA’s spherical structure provides near-instant awareness of any object entering Earth’s vicinity. This is the eyes and ears of Earth’s orbital shield.
Electromagnetic Defense Shield
An active electromagnetic field repels micro-debris and charged particles while assisting in directional radiation protection during solar storms and orbital drift.
Autonomous Drone Deployment
ARIA deploys defensive and repair drones from internal bays to conduct close-range inspections, debris deflection, and emergency hull restoration — all autonomously or AI-assisted.
Interception Systems
Heavy space cannons and outward-facing missile batteries, concealed behind armored transparency shielding, neutralize threats from multiple angles with synchronized precision. Targeting is guided by advanced AI algorithms with zero latency between detection and execution.
